Originally developed in Germany and now manufactured in the USA (Hawaii), our products are comparable to needle injections containing Botulinum Toxin. Spilanthol is derived from the paracress plant and has a tightening effect on the skin, thus reducing wrinkles and fine lines. Used in topical formulations, it can easily penetrate the skin, constraining contractions in subcutaneous muscles. In a clinical study, 75% of patients realized the smoothing effect of Acmella Oleracea extract (Gatuline Expression) straightaway, observing results as quickly as within 30-60 minutes from the first application.
Acmella oleracea extract is considered a natural and safe alternative to Botulinum Toxin (Botox). Spilanthol is a concentrated oily extract from the flower of the Acmella oleracea plant, also called Paracress. a traditional spicy condiment. Gattefossé notes Acmella oleracea is renowned for its high content in alkylamides, which has proven to be an excellent marker of anti-aging efficacy. To produce the signature extract, special attention is notably given to selective and sustainable harvesting of the flowers (upper buds only), which are grown from seed, to ensure the reproduction of what is considered an endangered species.
